Aviva Backs Tickets For Troops

TICKETS For Troops is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Aviva Premiership Rugby offering hundreds of free tickets to members of the Armed Forces for the upcoming season.

The generous offer includes 100 tickets for the big double header fixture on September 4th at Twickenham when London Irish face Saracens and London Wasps play Harlequins.

There will also 100 tickets available for the Boxing Day fixture between Saracens and London Wasps at Twickenham and Harlequins versus London Irish at Wembley Stadium on 27th December.

Gary Price, Aviva UK marketing director, said: "Aviva is proud to be involved with Tickets for Troops through our sponsorship of Aviva Premiership Rugby. which allows us to give something back to the brave men and women who serve our country. We recognise their bravery and sacrifice and we hope that with the help of this fantastic charity, we show the respect we have for the risks they take for us all on a daily basis."

Individual clubs which supported Tickets For Troops last season, have also pledged to allocate extra tickets throughout the season depending on the specific fixtures.

Tickets For Troops has teamed up with a wide range of organisations and has been able to offer free tickets to a huge number of high profile events, including top Premier League Football matches, horse-racing, the friendly football match between England and Hungary, as well as the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
The charity was set up last year to provide members of the Armed Forces with free tickets for major sporting events including football, horse racing, rugby, darts and cricket matches as well as theatre performances, music concerts and cultural attractions.

Since launching it has provided over 200,000 tickets and almost 60,000 troops have registered on the website - www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk

This initiative has attracted maximum support from a host of Patrons, including ex England London Wasps captain Lawrence Dallaglio and Samantha Cameron, the wife of PM David Cameron.
