TO show support for the Armed Forces, Epsom Racecouse are
offering 500 free tickets for their final day's racing on 2nd
October to the charity, Tickets for Troops it was announced today
(Tuesday).
Tickets For Troops is an independent charity that was set up last
year to provide top tickets to musical, cultural and sporting
events. It has been given over 200,000 tickets by
organisations wanting to show their support of the Armed
Forces.
Raleigh Addington, Operations Director commented: "Tickets For
Troops are extremely grateful to Epsom Downs Racecourse for
supporting our marvellous Armed Forces in this way. It is a
huge boost to the morale of the troops to have their commitment and
dedication recognised in this way and we are thrilled to have the
support from so many organisations."
Epsom Downs Racecourse is delighted to have the opportunity to
support such a worthwhile cause and on a day which not only signals
an end to the season, but also the final day of the Tompkins &
May Partnership Derby Series, featuring the Tompkins & May
Partnership Amateur Jockeys Derby.
Five hundred tickets have been donated to the charity, free of
charge and any additional tickets will be available to Tickets for
Troops at a reduced price of £5 from £20 (75% discount).
Additionally, all tickets will include a buy one get one free
voucher on a pint of beer at the racecourse. The offer applies to
