Tickets For Troops has once again teamed up with the FA to offer
servicemen and women 1000 tickets to England v Bulgaria at Wembley
Stadium on Friday 3rd September. The FA was one of the first
organisations to support Tickets For Troops and officially
partnered the charity donating 1000 free tickets for the recent
friendlies against Mexico and Hungary.
An FA spokesperson said: "We are delighted to support our Armed
Forces in this way as a small token of our thanks for their courage
and sacrifice."
Lord Marland, Chairman of TFT said: "Tickets for Troops has
benefited from a great wave of generosity from our ticket donors
and patrons who have wanted to demonstrate their support and
appreciation of the dedication and commitment of the marvellous men
and women from our forces. I want to thank The FA not only for
being one of our leading ticket providers, but also for their great
generosity in dedicating this game to our Armed Forces during these
difficult times."
The match is England's opening qualifier for the 2012 European
Championship. After England's disappointment in failing to reach
the last European Tournament, expectations are set to be high.
However, with an explosive start to the Premier League this crucial
game has the potential to be a scorcher.
