Journey’s End | Ypres, Belgium
"This Production is worth a trip to Belgium" - The Daily Telegraph
MESH Theatre have kindly offered our members a chance to see the live adaptation of Journey's End, set in the very landscape which inspired it, at The Gunpowder Store, Ypres. After it's debut production in 2017 the five star production is returning to Ypres in October in the lead up to Armistice Day.
With shows set to run throughout October and into November we are delighted to be able to offer any of our members based in Belgium the rare opportunity to see the production in the very landscape it's set in.
MESH Theatre's acclaimed production brings life to the true stories of those who lived through the battle of Ypres, 100 years after the end of the war. Having seen the production last year, General Sir James Everard KCB CBE, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe said "It captured the atmosphere, tensions, humour and tragedies of trench life brilliantly. We teach all young officers...that any view of the nature of war is incomplete without the consideration of the effects of danger, fear, exhaustion and privation on the men and women who do the fighting. For me this is what Journey’s End captures so well."
We are therefore thrilled to be able to offer our members complimentary tickets to see the show, the dates for which can be seen below. If you are intrested in attending please email firstname.lastname@example.org and quote "Tickets4Troops" to book your tickets.
Tickets are in high demand in this Armistice year production so book soon and, once booked, please be sure to honour attendance.
