Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society Support Tickets For Troops
We are delighted to announce that the organisers behind popular agricultural event, the Kenilworth Show are supporting Tickets For Troops and our country's Armed Forces through a donation of tickets to next months show.
Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society (KADAS), who organise Coventry and Warwickshire’s biggest one-day agricultural event, has generously provided 100 free tickets to the event on Saturday, June 7 to the charity.
This year’s Kenilworth Show features a range of entertaining rural attractions for all the family, including a countryside area which includes the chance to try air rifle shooting and clay shooting, gun dog scurrying and demonstrations with working dogs.
Veronica Bamford, director of operations for Tickets For Troops, is thankful to KADAS for its generous donation.
Veronica said: “This is a significant year for our UK Armed Forces, as we remember the 100th anniversary of World War One and we are absolutely delighted the Kenilworth Show will be supporting our country’s marvellous servicemen and women.”
Kenilworth Show director Charlie Weetman said the show committee was more than happy to support the charity.
“It was a pleasure to arrange for 100 of our hard-working troops and their families to come and join us on June 7,” he said.
“Everyone in the country is really proud of our servicemen and women and we were delighted to offer them the chance to come and spend the day with us.”
